Championships’
With the interest back and
membership growing the Club is about to revive the club
championship,,, Starting 28feb 2010
It is intended that “FIVE
rounds be held throughout the year and a point score system is
being worked out that should give everybody a fair
chance,,,,,,
Races will be run under the
rules of the AMPBA and Some very simple rules as to
classes,
1, Classes will be a minimum
of 3 boats
2, Entry is $5-00 first boat
Plus $2-00 per boat
3, Everybody who races MUST
help run race days when asked,
4, Racing will start at 10am
after a driver meeting at 9-30am and be of 2 rounds per day weather
permitting,
5, Classes WILL be combined
where necessary,
6, THIS IS FUN and must be
treated as such.
The club has grown a lot over
the last year but at the moment it is hard to see a lot of nitro
boats racing in classes ? Nitro guys will have to get their
act together here and help out if they wish to race in this
series.
We have several classes of
petrol boats being monos, cats, sports hydros and riggers with
either 231s’ or 260 motors so to
make this into 6 boat fields
these will be combined if necessary
